Lizards

by Lydia

Lizards are fascinating creatures. When frightened they can burrow under the ground, lose their tail, and even walk on water. Of course, not all lizards can do these things. Anyways, the Arabia Toad-Headed Agamid hides under the sand away from the sharp eyes of the hawks. Several lizards can make their tail fall off. When their tail falls
off it wiggles around, therefore, distracting the predator while the lizard makes a quick getaway.Only one lizard can walk on water though, it is called the green basilisk lizard. It is known to quickly dart across water when disturbed.Yes, lizards are very fascinating creatures.
